About Chef Brandy
With a medical background, Brandy is uniquely qualified to meet your specialized dietary requirements, serving your needs personally, and always enthusiastic to incorporate new techniques, recipes and customize each meal for you.

Complimentary training includes working alongside anti-aging and naturopathic physicians as well as personal trainers. She is certified by the United States Personal Chef Association.

During the beginning years of Dining by Design, Brandy trained under various local chefs and restaurateurs obtaining priceless one-on-one training... and has been going strong since 2000!

As the Culinary Director of a pilot program for Washoe County School District ​Lunch Program (which has been recognized by the National School Lunch Program, and acknowledges a rigorous compliance with federal nutrition guidelines) she has overseen students as they planned, sourced (even grew!), shopped, prepared, cooked, served, and cleaned up the on-site school lunch program kitchen as part of their curriculum, to implement better lunch programs and create awareness of healthier eating among our youth.

Chef Brandy also studied with the Institute for Integrative Nutrition to achieve her Health Coach Certification as relates to dietary requirements with concern for personal tastes.
